Terms and conditions

The MdA, housed in a Neo-Classical townhouse, has made some of its rooms available for private hire*. They are suitable for business dinners, weddings, seminars, film/photo shoots and many other types of events. Make your dream of dining in a Louis XV or Louis XVI-style salon come true. Enjoy a magnificent garden with Classical features or dance the night away in the unusual underground atmosphere of our brick-vaulted cellar. Our building’s atmosphere is unique in central Brussels.

*Please note that the spaces are only available for private hire when not in use for exhibitions and other events organised by the MdA.

This option is best for large events such as weddings and conferences.

Cellars

The cellars are ideal for smaller parties for groups of friends or birthday parties, as a dance floor can be easily set up. Capacity: 50 persons seated, 80 people standing.

Garden

On a lovely sunny summer’s day, the garden is a perfect place for a cocktail party on the lawn or a Sunday afternoon picnic. Privatization is not possible during the opening hours of the Estaminet.

Prices

– Entire house and garden (from 8am to 3am LATEST): Package €3,000. Deposit €2,000
– Cellars: €100 per hour or Evening Package (until 3am LATEST) €500. Deposit €200
– Meeting room: please ask us to quote you

Practical Information

The fees paid to hire spaces at the MdA are used to offset the costs of putting on exhibitions and associated events and its artists.
